How Birdwatch Keeps Your Payments Secure

Platform security and protocols

Much like the quality of everything we do in your home, we take the security of your payment information seriously.

Birdwatch uses Stripe, one of the world’s most trusted payment platforms, to securely process credit card and bank payments. Millions of businesses rely on Stripe because it is built to meet rigorous security and compliance standards.

One of the most important protections is that Birdwatch does not have access to your full credit card number. Your payment information is securely handled by Stripe, not stored by our team. That means your sensitive financial information isn’t visible to our employees or written down, shared, or managed manually.

If you choose to pay by ACH (bank transfer), your bank account is connected through Stripe’s secure banking infrastructure. Stripe integrates directly with the vast majority of U.S. banks, providing a highly secure connection with strong authentication, encryption, and audit controls to help protect your financial information.

Birdwatch is never one of those home service providers that asks you to break out some cash or write a check. Every payment is made securely through you account, creating a transparent, auditable record from start to finish.

Whether work is performed by a Birdwatch employee or a trusted specialist is involved in a project, Birdwatch manages the financial side of every job through a single, secure experience. Every payment, service, estimate, invoice, and approved change order is documented in your account, so you always have a complete record of what was performed, what was approved, and what was paid.

Our goal is to make paying for home services as secure, transparent, and straightforward as the work itself. If you ever have questions about your payment methods or billing, our team is always happy to help.
