How to Update Your Payment Method
Keeping your payment information up to date ensures your Birdwatch membership and invoices are billed without interruption. You can update your payment method at any time if your credit/debit card expires, you want to use a different card, or you’d prefer to switch to a bank account (ACH) for payment.
Manage how you pay for Birdwatch under Settings → Payments.
Add a payment method
Select Add.
Choose Card or US bank account.
Enter the details and select Add to save.
Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover. Incur a 3% payment processing fee as shown in the checkout.
Debit Cards: no fee.
Bank account (ACH): Connects your checking or savings. No processing fee.
Set your defaults
Open Payment defaults (the settings icon next to Add) to choose a method for each charge type:
Orders — service work and order payments.
Membership — recurring subscription and membership charges.
They can be the same method or two different ones.
View or edit a method
Select any method on file to see its type, last four digits, and cardholder name, or to update it.
Your details are handled through our secure payment system, Stripe. You can change a method or default at any time.
