How to Update Your Payment Method

Keeping your payment information up to date ensures your Birdwatch membership and invoices are billed without interruption. You can update your payment method at any time if your credit/debit card expires, you want to use a different card, or you’d prefer to switch to a bank account (ACH) for payment.

Payment Methods We Accept

Birdwatch currently supports the following payment options:

  • Credit Card

  • Debit Card

  • Bank Account (ACH)
    These options align with the methods supported by our payment provider, Stripe.


Update Your Payment Method Through the Stripe Customer Portal

We use Stripe Billing to securely manage your payment information. The easiest way to update your payment details is through the Stripe Customer Portal.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Sign in to the Stripe Customer Portal:
    Visit your secure billing portal via this link:

  2. Access Payment Methods:
    Once signed in, go to the Payment Methods section.

  3. Add a New Payment Method:

    • Choose Credit Card, Debit Card, or Bank Account (ACH).

    • Enter the payment details you want to use going forward.

    • Save your new payment method.

  4. Set as Default:

    • If needed, select your newly added payment method as the default for future payments.
